Tag4D Filter is the most wanted feature that is now in Maxon Cinema 4D. Easily disable and enable the tags on your objects and also hide/un-hide and delete them.

Protection, Target, Vibrate, Dynamics, and all other expression and non-expression tags. You don't need to remove them. Just disable in one click then enable when you want.

Also, the script is open source for those devs or studios, who can learn or modify the script for personal use.

Tag4D Filter UI and How it works?:

Once you have the script install and c4d is restart. To get the Tag4D Filter window to pop-up, go to your Extensions menu or Scripts(in older c4d's) menu, like the image below.

The Tag4D Filter UI window is really easy to use.

• Step 1: Find & scroll or search for the tag or tags you want by checking them in the list.

• Step 2: Choose the Filter Mode you want to do to the tags. You can see you have 5 options, Disable / Enable / Hide / Un-Hide / Delete options.

• Step 3: Select your object or objects that have these tags that you want to filter too.

• Step 4: Press the Filter Button and let the magic do its work.

Can I set shortcuts for disabling and enabling functions without a UI window?

Yes, you can! You can go to Window > Customization > Customize Commands

or just use the shortcut to open the window you see below.

Just type in the search box (tag4dfilter) and assign your personal shortcut to the enable and disable scripts. You can also make one for the main Tag4D Filter UI window, you see below.

PLEASE NOTE!: When using the Disable and Enable has shortcuts, you do not have to select the objects like the way the main Tag4DFilter UI window works, just select the tag or tags and execute by shortcut you assign to Enable and Disable. Example Video Below:

Installation:

Copy the Folder Install Files->scripts-> "Tag4DFilter by FCS“ to the following location:

WINDOWS: user\AppData\Roaming\MAXON\CINEMA 4D\library\scripts

OSX: user/library/Preferences/MAXON/CINEMA 4D/library/scripts
